Virginia Roberts Giuffre Accsues Prince Andrew Of Three Incidents Of Forced Sex In Jeffrey Epstein Scandal
On August 19, Buckingham Palace issued a statement signed by Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, that vehemently distanced the British royal from late disgraced financier, Jeffery Epstein.
The statement read, in part, that “His Royal Highness deplores the exploitation of any human being and the suggestion he would condone, participate in or encourage any such behavior is abhorrent.”
The statement comes after the release of a grainy video by The Daily Mail that shows Prince Andrew at the door of Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse in 2010. At this time, Epstein was already a registered sex offender, had avoided a federal trial and had only served 13 months in jail for state prostitution charges over his involvement with underage girls. He had been charged with paying girls as young as 14 to have sex with him in Upper East Side home and estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
This is not the first time Prince Andrew’s name was thrown in with the likes of Epstein, either. Back in 2015, one of Epstein’s accusers, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, said she was forced to have sex with the Prince Andrew while underage. Andrew has firmly denied the accusation.
On Friday, Guiffre appeared on NBC’s Today Show alongside five other of Epstein’s victims to give a detailed account of her interactions with the British Royal. Guiffre recalls an incident in which she went out to a club in London with Epstein, his close friend Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew. In the car ride back from the club, Giuffre said that Maxwell told her the prince was coming back to her house and that she wanted her to “do for him what you do for Epstein.”
According to Giuffre, that was just one of three times she had forced relations with Prince Andrew. The other two times were in Epstein’s New York mansion and another time at his Virgin Islands’ estate.
“He denies that it ever happened and he’s going to keep denying that it ever happened, but he knows the truth and I know the truth,” she said.
Previously, the Prince’s years long relationship with Epstein was ended in 2011 when Epstein threatened legal action against Prince Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
