Melania Trump Plans Christmas In July, Twitter Critics Pan Her Photos
Melania Trump has started to plan this year’s White House Christmas preparations.
Melania tweeted photographs of her planning for the holiday with the following caption: “#Christmas planning has begun in the East Wing at the @WhiteHouse. I’m looking forward to sharing our final vision for this unique tradition in the coming months.”
People were angered by the First Lady’s tweet, while some even accused her of trying to get the attention away from Special Counsel Robert Mueller‘s congressional hearings, which took place when the tweet was posted.

The First Lady was also criticized by people by referencing the administration’s policy of separating immigrant children from their families on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Some have also recalled last year’s red Christmas tree decorations. Melania used red trees instead of regular green Christmas trees last year. However, she defended the choice of color saying that it was “beautiful” and “fantastic.”
“Children in cages and abused in US custody and you are worrying about Christmas decorations. You truly are the most useless First Lady in history. Tell us how you qualified for an Einstein Visa when you are uneducated and have no discernable talents,” wrote one Twitter user.
“The country is in turmoil, but yes, let’s start planning Christmas in July,” wrote another user.
