Rod Stewart, 73, posed for a family picture with his wife, model Penny Lancaster, 47. The rock legend took the family photo with his kids on a Malibu, California beach that Lancaster posted to Instagram.

“Family time down in Malibu,” Lancaster captioned the photo.

Stewart and Lancaster, who married in 2007, share sons Aiden, 7, and Alastair, 12. Sean, 38, is from Stewart’s first marriage to Alana Stewart. Liam, 24, is from his marriage to supermodel Rachel Hunter.

Stewart also has four daughters. Renee, 26, is from Hunter. Ruby, 31, is with model Kelly Emberg. Kimberly, 39, is from his first marriage to Alana Stewart. And Sarah Streeter, 55, was born when Stewart was a teen and placed up for adoption. The two later reconnected in life.

Stewart talked about how his kids reacted to his and Lancaster’s age difference in 2016. “For some of the kids when she first came into my life, they obviously thought, ‘Oh, money grabber,’” he said. “But she’s won them over entirely now. She’s a great girl.”

He also said that he appreciates fatherhood more now as he’s in his old age. “I’ve got a hockey player, I’ve got a musician, I’ve got a ballet dancer, a jazz dancer and they are all pursuing wonderful careers,” he said. “Extremely proud of them.”

Stewart’s most recent album, Blood Red Roses, released in September.

He also has a Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Place called Rod Stewart: The Hits. That resumes on November 21.

For now, Stewart is stuck wearing a medical boot due to a right foot injury.

“The many hazards of playing football! ⚽️ and when the doctor advises rest up! Trying telling this rock star as he hates to let his fans down. Thanks for your support!” Lancaster wrote in an Instagram post earlier this month.
