Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr Welcome Baby Boy

Orlando Bloom is about to find out which is more difficult: fending off pirates or being a first-time dad. Wife Miranda Kerr gave birth to the couple's first child, a boy, in L.A. on Thursday, according to Us Magazine.

Bloom and Kerr dated for almost three years before secretly tying the knot in July. Kerr confirmed that she was four months pregnant in Spanish Vogue in September. "I've always been open about wanting to be a mother one day, and I've always thought Orlando would be a great dad," she said to Sydney's Morning Herald.

But the Victoria's Secret model isn't planning on leaving the runway post-baby. "I think having children and pregnancy is a part of life, I look at how models like Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have done it and made it a part of their lives." —ISHITA SINGH
