Lindsay Lohan Suspected In Second Alleged Jewelry Theft
Lindsey Lohan, 26, may be in the middle of another theft controversy after approximately $100,000-worth of watches and sunglasses allegedly went missing from the Hollywood Hills home of her friend, millionaire Sam Magid, a little over a week ago.
Lohan and her assistant, Gavin Doyle, were reportedly guests at Magid's house at his overnight soiree, during which the pricey items turned up missing. Though Magid initially called the police to report the theft, he later recanted his story, reports the New York Post, which isn't stopping cops from investigating, as they are said to have other witnesses who can pin Lohan and Doyle to a theft.
Lohan is still on probation for a previous theft case last year in which a necklace was stolen from a jewelry store in Venice, Calif. If Lohan is charged and found guilty, she could face serious jail time for violating her probation.
Magid is reportedly still not cooperating with investigators, which could make it difficult to bring up charges in the case, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Lohan just wrapped filming for a Lifetime production about the life of Elizabeth Taylor with her on-again, off-again, on- and off-screen romantic leading man, Richard Burton, called Liz & Dick, also starring Grant Bowler, 44.
