The star of 2004’s film Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan, showed up to the New York premiere of the new Mean Girls movie, which is based on the Broadway musical.

Lohan is a new mom as she and her husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a baby boy, Luai, back in July 2023.

On the red carpet, Lohan was asked if she identifies as a “cool mom” and the star responded with a resounding, “I hope so!”

Her outfit on the red carpet was an all-black look from Alexandre Vauthier with a low slit and cutouts on the side.

Lohan posed for pictures with the writer of the original film, Tina Fey, and Saturday Night Live creator, Lorne Michaels. The pair are producing the new musical film together with help from Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, who wrote the music for the project.

But this isn’t the only Mean Girls reunion that’s been taking place recently. Lohan appeared next to her former costars in a commercial for Walmart.

While Lohan starred in the 2004 film, her former role as Cady Heron has been handed over to Angourie Rice. Additionally, the new film stars Reneé Rapp, known for playing Regina George in the Broadway adaptation of the film.

After Lohan gave birth, her film mom from Freaky Friday, Jamie Lee Curtis, welcomed her to motherhood with a sweet social media post.
