Alyssa Milano Leaks Funny Or Die Sex Tape To Talk About Syria

Alyssa Milano leaked her very own sex tape to call attention to the conflict in Syria – a strategy she concocted with Funny Or Die.

The fake sex tape hit the Internet Wednesday, and features Milano with a hunky man in a romantic hotel room. Milano has her camera and looks to be trying to film her impending tryst, but, alas, in her passion she kicks the camera over, recording a news broadcast on Syria playing on the television instead of the sexy actress in bed.

Milano used Twitter to ‘leak’ the tape on Wednesday, writing, “My sex tape was leaked. Not sure what to say. Going to post the link myself to try to control the situation.”

On Thursday Milano asked her followers to help UNICEF in their efforts to aid children affected by the violence in Syria.

Milano has acted as a UNICEF ambassador since 2003, and has traveled around the world with the organization. When she was pregnant with her son in 2011, Milano hosted a virtual baby shower asking for contributions to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in place of baby gifts. And, according to her UNICEF ambassador page, Milano used Twitter to raise $300,000 for UNICEF through the Haiti Twitter Challenge.

“I think that celebrity is a really important thing, because we have the voice that’s recognizable, that can educate and empower people to make a difference,” Milano has said about her work with the charity.

Milano currently stars on Mistresses, which will air its first season finale Monday at 9 p.m. on ABC.
