Chris Rock started rumors that he was collaborating with Eminem on his upcoming album last week when he posted a picture of himself on his Twitter account with caption, “In the studio with Em don’t sleep.”

When Rock was asked about the possible collaboration, he did nothing but fuel the continuing rumors, refusing to either confirm or deny them. “Uh… I can’t really say,” he told “I was on the Kanye record, maybe I’m on the Eminem record,” he continued. “You never know.”

Rock was referring to his vocal cameo on Kanye West’s track “Blame Game” on 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

If Rock’s picture was just a hoax, it wouldn’t be the only one involving the Detroit rapper this week. On Thursday, a Facebook post circulated that read, “Rapper Eminem left nearly DEAD after being stabbed 4 times in NYC!” Reps for Eminem immediately refuted the post.

Eminem’s new album is expected to be released this spring.
