Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg was asked by a reporter if he wanted the rock-band Phish to play at his inauguration.

“Well, it’s worth a shot. Maybe we should ask them,” Buttigieg responded ecstatically.

It’s not secret that the 37-year-old mayor is a fan of Phish, but he has other musical favorites too.

“But I’m always trying to expand my horizons a little bit, get into new stuff. Any time Radiohead and Thom Yorke come out with something new, that’s pretty exciting,” said Buttigieg.

Buttigieg and his taste in music, is seen by some people as a sign of newer, more youthful Democratic Party, which has become reinvigorated due to the introduction of candidates like Kamala Harris and Beto O’Rourke.
