HBO has updated Sunday night’s episode of Game of Thrones to digitally remove a coffee cup that accidentally made an appearance in one of the scenes.

On Monday, the premium channel confirmed that the cup’s appearance was a mistake after fans spotted the takeout cup on a table in front of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in a scene of episode four of the eighth and final season.

“The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea,” HBO wrote in a tweet.

By Tuesday morning, the streaming version of the GOT episode on HBO Now and HBO had removed the cup from the scene. A rep for HBO confirmed that the coffee cup, which resembled a Starbucks cup, was deleted and would not appear in future airings of the episode, “The Last of the Starks.”

Bernie Caulfield, the executive producer of the show, commented yesterday that these kind of mistakes are rare for a show this big, but that “if that’s the worst thing they’re finding, then we’re in good shape.”

This isn’t the first time fans have spotted a coffee cup in the Game of Thrones production, as in 2014 during season 4 production of GOT, images of Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) holding a coffee cup behind-the-scenes went viral. This also wasn’t the first time HBO has edited something out of a show, as last year a similar incident occurred in Westworld when two cameramen made their way into a shot, only to be later edited out in an updated version of the episode.

On Monday afternoon, after Starbucks discovered that they were trending on Twitter due to the incident, they later took to Twitter to promote their new drink, tweeting, “TBH we’re surprised she didn’t order a Dragon Drink,” which is their new tropical-inspired drink that they say includes “a scoop of real diced dragon fruit.”
