Anthony Scaramucci Leaves The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ House After Just 6 Days

Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci’s time in the Celebrity Big Brother house has come to an end and it was even shorter than his time in the White House.

After just six days in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Scaramucci, who was fired by President Donald Trump after 11 days in July 2017, was spotted on Wednesday in Davos, Switzerland, for a business conference.

During the business conference panel, Scaramucci broke the news of his exit from the Celebrity Big Brother house. “I just left the Big Brother house,” he told the panel. “You have to tune in Friday to understand what happened. So, unfortunately, I signed confidentiality, but there’s a little bit of a cliffhanger.”

The celebrity houseguests were also captured talking about Scaramucci’s departure from the show on live feeds on Tuesday evening. “I miss Anthony Scaramucci,” actor Jonathan Bennett said to fellow contestant Dina Lohan“I do too. He would be teaching us things right now about finance,” Lindsay Lohan’s mother responded.

Tamar Braxton also spoke about his departure. “Mooch you tried,” the singer said to her fellow houseguests. “I just want you to know that.”

On Tuesday’s episode, Head of Household Ryan Lochte nominated Scaramucci and Tom Green for the first nomination ceremony of the season.

It is still unclear of what the circumstances behind the 55-year-old’s exit are, but he said the overall experience was “a tremendous amount of fun.”

During his short time in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Scaramucci opened up about his
interactions with Trump. “One of the things he used to love was — he’d shoot the tweet and he’d be
watching TV and boom, breaking news and there was the tweet. It was on the news. Just think about
it. At that time he probably had 20 million Twitter followers, now he’s got probably 60, but he said,
‘I’ve got 20 million Twitter followers, how many people read the Wall Street Journal? Two million? So
I’ve got ten times the power of the Wall Street Journal, oh and by the way, I shoot it off the satellite, it
lands on everybody’s newsfeed.’ So he figured that out and exploited it big time. He played it like a
fiddle and by the way he still is,” he said to the camera.

Last season, another ex-Trump staffer, Omarosa Manigault Newman came onto the show and also revealed details from her time as an assistant to Trump and director of communications for the office of public liaison.

Celebrity Big Brother‘s next episode airs Tonight at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
