Add Kirstie Alley to the list of celebrities who have publicly endorsed notorious presidential hopeful Donald Trump. On Friday the Emmy award-wining actress and comedian took to Twitter to express her support for the Republican front-runner, calling it her “formal endorsement”:
She knew that she would get backlash for her decision, but declared that if her friends held it against her, they weren’t friends in the first place.
The Jenny Craig spokeswoman also cited her great voting record for endorsing the winning presidents:
The former Cheers star brushed away her critics, saying there were much bigger problems to deal with than Twitter haters:
