Writer-director Simon Helberg of The Big Bang Theory and his wife – and co-director – Jocelyn Towne attended the SXSW premiere and after party for their new film, We’ll Never Have Paris.

We’ll Never Have Paris premiered at SXSW on Monday with stars Helberg, Maggie Grace, Melanie Lynskey and Jason Ritter in attendance. The film also stars Zachary Quinto and Alfred Molina.

Helberg, who stars as Howard on CBS’ hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory, wrote the rom-com about his own courtship with his wife. The fictionalized reality is about a man, Quinn (Helberg), who struggles to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Devon (Lynskey), after Kelsey (Grace) professes her love to him. Quinn leaves Devon for Kelsey, immediately regretting his decision and has to win her back.

The sweet film was well-received at the festival, and was featured as part of SXSW’s Narrative Spotlight.
