Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson To Spend Thanksgiving Down Under

It's been a whirlwind year for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, with The Twilight Saga coming to an end and the Rupert Sanders cheating scandal threatening to separate them for good — but the young starlets, who are rumored to have patched things up since, are reportedly planning a quiet Thanksgiving getaway to Australia, where Stewart has family and Pattinson will start filming The Rover.

Stewart and Pattinson may also take the opportunity to expand their family in time for the holidays. The couple, which already owns rescue dog Bear, is reportedly looking to find him a playmate. “[They] were desperate for Bear to have a companion, but recent events meant they had to hold off from the idea,” a source tells Hollywood Life. “Kristen and Robert will be spending Thanksgiving together and are hoping to have a new addition to the family before then. They haven’t got a preference with the breed, but are leaning towards the idea of a female friend for Bear.”

In the meantime, the couple has been busy promoting the last sequel of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2, although they have yet to make a joint red-carpet appearance since the summer. They have, however, been publicly spotted together boarding flights from LAX to New York, attending Halloween parties at Maroon 5 Adam Levine's digs, and hanging out at On The Road afterparties. At the Today show with Savannah Guthrie, Stewart coyly avoided answering directly when asked about their relationship: "Funny you mention that. I'm just going to let people watch whatever little movie they think our lives are and go for it. Keep them guessing, I always say." But sources insist that the couple is going full steam ahead. “There’s talk that they will be home together again with their beloved dog Bear in L.A. by Christmas, but at Kristen’s new four bedroom home. They want to give it another go and try living in her house for a while.”
