'Row'-ing With Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen

Vogue's best dressed sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, 25, have come a long way since their days as teeny tots on Full House. The famed siblings have fared better than most actors-turned-desginers by building a line that is truly welcomed by the world of high-end fashion (and we're not talking about their tween-friendly Wal-Mart collections). We're talking about a line that has made headlines for producing a $34,000 backpack! Enter The Row.

Named after Savile Row, London's famous shopping street, The Row launched as the Olsen's couture fashion label in 2007. The line was created "with a simple mission to make the perfect luxurious T-shirt," according to its site. Four years later, the minimalistic collection includes everything from leg warmers to kimono-style dresses — and, what every little school girl needs, an alligator skin backpack sold exclusively at Barney's New York.

Shopping The Row may not be easy on the wallet, but it's sure to yield some pretty luxurious — and fabulous — gifts for the holiday season. Got an extra $6,330 to buy Mom (or Dad) a pair of pink gold cufflinks with burgundy, green and black diamonds? Or ready to spend $2,640 on a round eye necklace with blue sapphires, tsavorites and black diamonds?

Luckily, The Row does offer some options for more price-conscious shoppers. Their Toms x The Row mashup includes the trademark shoes in cashmere and wool for $98 to $150. Plus, there's the Olsen sister's contemporary womenswear line, Elizabeth and James, named after their two younger siblings. It includes all of your wardrobe needs, from an $1,150 rabbit fur coat to $45 mushroom studs.
