Pharrell Williams Expanding Clothing And Design Empire

Those familiar with luxury street labels Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream know that they're synonymous with one of music's most versatile acts, Pharrell Williams. One-half of production duo The Neptunes, lead singer for alternative hip hop band N.E.R.D., and Grammy Award-winner, Wiliams has also made a name for himself in fashion. His repertoire not only includes two menswear collections, but also a guest designer spot for jewelry and sunglasses at Louis Vuitton in 2008.

While his BBC and Ice Cream labels have been favorites of skateboarders and the street chic of both sexes since their 2005 launch, Williams revealed that he will develop a Billionaire Girls Club for women by Spring 2013. For those who can't wait, the 38-year-old is expected to release several BGC shirts and fleece items up until its official launch. It doesn't stop there: Wiliams is developing footwear with New Amsterdam designer Mark McNairy, and is working on "Places & Spaces I’ve Been," with interior designer Ambra Medda.

Fans in need of an immediate Pharrell fashion fix can shop his two collections online, launched with the help of Japanese disc-jockey-slash-designer Nigo (who's responsible for cult favorite, A Bathing Ape). Billionaire Boys Club includes graphic tees in the $60 range, flannel shirts and polos that can run up to $250, $300 sweatshirts and $400 denim. There's also an assortment of jackets, shorts, fitted caps, backpacks and shoes. Those looking for a more eccentric, colorful variety can turn to his Asian-inspired Ice Cream Clothing. Originally a sneaker line, it now includes graphic tees with the brand's signature ice cream cone, polos, totes and outerwear. Merchandise runs from $50 up to several hundred.
