Who Is Becca Kufrin? All You Need To Know About The New 'Bachelorette'
How honest are reality show contestants? Do they decide what they say just to ensure that they survive for another week? Or maybe they really have no idea what they believe, and we are witness to them figuring it out as they go along.
Those are the thoughts going through my head as I watch the video below with Becca and Chris from last night’s Bachelorette. At first glance, it seems like Chris is saying what he’s saying just to get back in Becca’s good graces. But maybe his feelings really are fluctuating that much from week to week. Either way, though, it is clear that these two are just not on the same page and that is not going to change anytime soon.
In more promising news, Wills is able to take a “huge weight” off himself and admit to Becca that he is falling in love with her. To which I say, “What’s the big deal?” That’s the entire reason these guys are here in the first place. Whether it is completely true or Wills is just trying to will it to be true, this is no great revelation. We need to go deeper.
We’ve got time to discuss one more highlight, and that’s Garrett’s closing statement, i.e. the thoughts that he wrote down using pen and paper. A lot of people struggle with saying what they want to say out loud, and there is power in the self-reflection of the written word. I don’t know if Garrett and Becca have a future together, but good on him for taking this step.
Well, Connor, Lincoln and Chris are out now, as we move ahead with just the top six remaining. Jason, Colton and Leo got the date roses last night, but the other three remaining guys – Garrett, Blake, and Willis – have all received at least one date rose earlier in the season.
