Baker continued to work with CBS, taking a lead role once again on ‘The Mentalist.’ He played Patrick Jane, a fake psychic turned consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation after the death of his wife at the hands of a serial killer. Baker was nominated for a Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy for his performance.
