10. Denny and Izzie

Sorry for all you Izzie/Alex shippers out there, but Izzie (Katherine Heigl) and Denny’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) relationship was one of the most pure love stories on Grey’s Anatomy if only for the fact that it didn’t last long enough to be corrupted (or to see Izzie get cancer, recover and then disappear). Denny and Izzie may not have known each other for long, but their quick and tragic love story was heart wrenching and perfect in its short existence.
