Zach & Tori Roloff, ‘Little People Big World’ Stars, Welcome A Son
Tori Roloff, wife of Little People Big World star, Zach Roloff, gave birth to a baby boy on Friday. The baby, Jackson Roloff was born weighing a little over 9 pounds and measured 20.5 inches long.
Zach, who has achondroplasia, and his twin brother Jeremy Roloff, who does not, are the eldest children of Mathew Roloff and Amy Knight, the subjects of TLC’s series Little People Big World.
Tori and Zach both posted the same photo to Instagram to announce that their child had been born.
“Jackson Kyle Roloff Born May 12th at 8:00am 9 LBS 1 OZ 20 1/2 inches long Mom and Dad are so in love with you already,” Tori’s post read.
Zach and Tori married in 2015 and the birth of the baby and all they have done to prepare has been a major story line in the latest season of the show. The baby comes weeks before Zach’s brother Jeremy and his wife Audrey Roloff are expecting a baby of their own.
During the show, Zach discussed the possibility of having a son with dwarfism. While he wanted to have a son that shared his experience, he was also worried about the potential health problems associated with dwarfism – Zach has experienced many over the course of his life – and the potential of getting bullied.
“What am I going to say? ‘Oh yeah, I want a dwarf baby? I can’t wait for that kid to be bullied?'” Zach told his brother in an episode of Little People Big World.
“Everything is going to be fine with the baby,” his brother responded.
“I hope so,” said Zach.
Jackson’s birth comes soon after his father celebrated his 27th birthday. His mother is 25.
