Zac Efron Explains Jaw Problems After Plastic Surgery Rumors

Zac Efron has opened up about speculation that he had plastic surgery on his jaw.

The Baywatch star, 34, has been rumored to have had plastic surgery since last April as his jaw suddenly “got really, really big.”

He cleared up the rampant gossip, saying that it dates back to an injury he suffered in November 2013.

He explained that after he fell over at his home and broke his jaw, his face and jaw muscles no longer operate “like a symphony.” He has been going to physical therapy regularly since then to help him recover.

Efron explained that he had no idea about the attention his appearance was receiving and the speculation he had some cosmetic procedures on his jaw on social media. It was his mom who told him the rumors and asked if he really had secretly gotten plastic surgery.

But Efron also said that type of speculation doesn’t bother him. “If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do,” he said. “I definitely wouldn’t be able to do this work.”
