Sultan Kosen, the tallest man in the world coming in at a whopping 8 feet 3 inches tall, is looking for love again.

In 2009, he was awarded the Guinness World Record for being the tallest living man. This feat was all thanks to a rare condition called pituitary giantism that causes him to continually produce growth hormones – even at the age of 41.

Kosen’s number one dream in life was to fall in love and get married and, in 2013, his dream came true when he married a Syrian woman named Merve Dibo.

At the time of their relationship, he stated, “When I looked into her eyes, I knew it was love.”

The 5’8” Dibo, who was only 20 years old at the time of their marriage, also commented on their relationship, “At first everyone around me told me not to marry him because of his height, but I fell in love with his heart, not his height. His height doesn’t bother me at all.”

However, love was not enough to overcome their language barrier – Kosen could only speak Turkish and Dibo was confined to Arabic. In 2021, the couple filed for divorce.

Since the split, Kosen has been on the hunt for his true love and will stop at nothing to find it. He has been to 127 out of 195 countries looking for love.

On Guinness World Records day, Kosen met Chandra Bahadur Dangi, the shortest man in the world.
