'Wimpy Kid' Tops 'Sucker Punch' At The Box Office
Rodrick really does rule. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules brought home $24.4 million, to land at the top of the box office charts its first weekend in release. The kid comedy was followed by Sucker Punch, starring Vanessa Hudgens (pictured), Abbie Cornish, Emily Browning and Jena Malone which made $19 million in its opening weekend. Limitless starring Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro and The Lincoln Lawyer with Matthew McConaughey continued to impress after strong opening weekends, while Johnny Depp's Rango showed no signs of slowing down, increasing its total gross to $106 million in just four weeks. —EMILY EXTON
