Willie Nelson is still going strong as he celebrates his 85th birthday.
The singer-songwriter’s latest album was released this week – making it his 73rd studio album. The album is titled Last Man Standing. Nelson told Texas Monthly that there’s no need for him to retire from music since it’s one of only two things he does. “All I do is play music and golf,” he said. “Which one do you want me to give up?”
He previously had to cancel his tour dates in February when he fell ill but is back and still performing. He told the publication his secret to long life. “I think trying to be creative, keeping busy, has a lot to do with keeping you alive,” he said.
