William Shatner Files for Divorce After 18-Year Marriage To 4th Wife, Elizabeth Shatner

The Star Trek icon William Shatner has filed for divorce from his wife, Elizabeth Shatner. 

The couple who got married in February 2001 decided to part their ways after 18 years of marriage due to “irreconcilable differences.”

According to the terms of a prenuptial agreement, neither William, 88, who has an estimated worth of $100 million, nor Elizabeth, 61, will receive support from each other.

Elizabeth, who is the actor’s fourth wife, is a former horse trainer. William was previously married to Nerine Kidd, who drowned in the family pool in 1999, Marcy Lafferty and Gloria Rand, with whom he shares three children, Leslie, 61, Lisabeth, 59, and Melanie, 55.

It seems like the couple has been going through a rough patch since the beginning of the year, according to divorce documents, his and Elizabeth’s separation date was February 1, 2019.
