Newly sworn-in President Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley Biden has new plans for her role as First Daughter. Although she is a fairly private person, Biden is ready to use her platform to advocate for social justice within America.

In an interview with former-First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager, Biden revealed that she does not have any plans to hold a position in her father’s administration, unlike previous First Daughter Ivanka Trump. While she wishes to remain private, including not owning any social media accounts, Biden is ready to “to advocate for social justice, for mental health, to be involved in community development and revitalization.”

She is the only daughter of Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden. The Biden’s also raised two sons, Hunter and Beau Biden, whom Joe Biden shared with his first wife, Nelia Hunter Biden, who tragically died along with their daughter, Naomi, in a 1972 car crash. Beau Biden passed away at age 46 due to a brain tumor.
