WATCH: Trump Refuses To Say Whether He Will Accept Election Results If He Loses

President Donald Trump declined to say whether he would accept the results of the election if he lost to Joe Biden in November.

“I have to see. I’m not just going to say yes. I’m not going to say no,” Trump told Chris Wallace in an interview on Fox News on Sunday when pressed about the possibility of accepting defeat.

When asked by Wallace if he was a “gracious” loser, Trump brought up mail-in ballots, which he said will “rig the election.” The president has made this claim several times, though he hasn’t offered any factual evidence to back it up. This is when Wallace turned the conversation, asking if Trump will not accept defeat if he loses in November. In 2016, Wallace asked Trump the same question during a debate with former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Trump had told Wallace then, “I will tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense.”

Trump also claimed on Sunday that Clinton never actually conceded the election. “And you know what she’s the one that never accepted her loss,” Trump told Wallace. Clinton has been an outspoken critic of the Trump administration.

Wallace also asked the president if he was generally a good loser. “I’m not a good loser,” Trump responded. “I don’t like to lose.”

During the 40-minute interview, Trump was also asked about the recent Fox News poll that shows him losing to Biden by 8 points. “I’m not losing, because those are fake polls,” he said. “They were fake in 2016 and now they’re even more fake.”
