Antonio Sabato Jr. To Create Conservative Movie Studio

Antonio Sabato Jr. has announced that he will be starting a “conservative movie studio to do projects Hollywood would never do” for “blacklisted” Republican actors.

“We are putting together a plan to create a conservative movie studio for all patriots to do projects that Hollywood would never do. No more blacklisting and no more injustice from the socialist’s elites,” the actor tweeted on Thursday.

Sabato Jr., who’s best known for starring in the soap operas General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful, has claimed that since he started publicly supporting President Donald Trump in 2016, he has been blacklisted from Hollywood. In March he told Variety that he had to give up and acting and find a new career in construction in Florida.

“I had to sell everything,” Sabato Jr. said. “I had to pay all my debts. I was blacklisted. All my representatives left me, from agents to managers to commercial agents. I literally had to move, find a new job to survive and take care of my kids. It’s been terrible. It’s mind-blowing. It’s a disgrace. It’s tough, because if you’re in that environment in Hollywood and you have something to say that they don’t like, they’re going to let you know.”

The actor said he is calling the project Conservative Studios, tweeting: “Blacklisting in Hollywood and around my industry is about to be over forever. We are not going to be bullied by you any longer!”

Conservative Studio’s first project will be called Trail Blazers, and it is set to costar Sabato Jr.’s fellow 90s actors and Trump supporters, Kristy Swanson and Scott Baio.

“Moving along with the Conservative Studios project,” Sabato Jr. tweeted. “Trail Blazers will be completely funded and ready to go soon, we have strong faith in our picture. Thank you again for the amazing support once when ready will start developing other deals/materials. #wehaveaplan”

In 2016, Sabato Jr. spoke at the Republican National Convention and followed the speech with an interview with ABC, where he claimed President Barack Obama was Muslim. “I don’t believe he follows the God that I love and the Jesus that I love,” the actor said. “He’s not supporting this country. I don’t believe he is.” He added: “I believe that he’s on the other side – the Middle East. He’s with the bad guys. He’s with them. He’s not with us. He’s not with this country.”
