‘Walking Dead’ Synopsis, New Photos For Second Half Of Season Seven Revealed

AMC has released an official synopsis for the second half of The Walking Dead season seven, along with some promotional images for the new episodes.

The first half of the season showed Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group broken up by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors, forced to follow his rules. The second half will see our heroes preparing for war and gathering supplies to finally take down Negan.

The gang will realize the world is much bigger, and that they will need to conquer more of it if they want to destroy Negan. Ezekiel and Gregory, however, don’t want to shed any blood. We know how hard that’s proven to be in the last six and a half seasons. The group will need to work incredibly hard to convince them otherwise, and to find weapons, food, and willing fighters.

The rest of season seven will also bring about new survivors in new places. Viewers can expect treachery and betrayal, and incredible tests for Rick’s group. The task of taking down Negan will prove incredibly difficult, and “no amount of planning will prepare the group for all-out war with Negan and his army.”

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 9 pm.
