Thousands of residents in central California were left without power after a dust storm swept through the region on Nov. 11.

According to local news reports, more than 8,000 Pacific Gas & Electric customers were without power in parts of south, central, Old Town Kern and East Bakersfield.

The National Weather Service issued a warning for blowing dust in nearby Fresno County on Monday, urging drivers of reduced visibility on the road.
