VIDEO: Honey Boo Boo Endorses President Barack Obama On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'
Honey Boo Boo is taking politics pretty seriously these days, which is ironic, considering her hit TLC show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, created such competition for the televised Democratic National Convention, but that's all in the past. Boo Boo, also known as Alana Thompson, is now officially endorsing President Barack Obama for re-election — a decision foreshadowed by her voiced support of gay rights on a previous episode of her show.
While Honey Boo Boo and Mama June Shannon stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to chat about things like money, fame and nicknames, with Boo Boo squirming all over the couch and Mama June trying to keep her daughter's legs together, Kimmel was onto more important topics.
After informing Boo Boo that Mitt Romney preferred Snooki of Jersey Shore over her as a reality star, Boo Boo was uncharacteristically taken aback. "Now I have to ask you," Kimmel said, "Who are you going to support for president — Mitt Romney or Barack Obama?"
"Who said that?" Boo Boo asked, to make sure she would abandon the right candidate. "Mitt Romney said that," Kimmel replied. The choice was clear. "Marack Obama," Honey Boo Boo haltingly answered.
So there you have it. Obama would have Honey Boo Boo's vote, provided she could vote at seven years old.
