On February 1, the American Heart Association had its annual Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection to raise awareness about heart disease. Along with musical performances, women modeled red dresses at the runway show.

Actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, 21, wore a red silky, strapless dress to the event.

In an exclusive interview with uInterview, Ramakrishnan described what makes her feel beautiful in a dress.

“I love fashion, I am a huge fashion person,” she started. “I love trying a bunch of different styles and aesthetics because I am very privileged to be in the job that I am. Which I get to have all these opportunities. Yeah, it’s all about making myself feel confident and beautiful and comfortable ideally.”

Ramakrishnan went on to talk about her favorite moments while shooting Never Have I Ever.

“Honestly, I am just such a sucker for the crew,” she revealed. “We have a lot of fun times as a crew. We have a lot of pranks that happen on set. Our director of photography does a lot of pranks. That’s really amazing. Yeah, I would say any moment with the crew because they work really hard.”
