In a sit-down conversation with uInterview, A Working Man actresses Arianna Rivas and Noemí González reflected on their favorite scenes to film with veteran actor Jason Statham. The film follows a decorated veteran (Statham) who leaves the military behind to lead a simple life, but when his boss’ daughter is kidnapped by human traffickers, he returns to the corrupt world from which he escaped. The two actresses reflected on their experiences working with Statham. Rivas told uInterview founder Erik Meers, “For me, it was one of the final scenes, and it was where – I won’t spoil too much – but basically, I got to watch him go through this very chaotic environment. And to watch him in his laser focus, eyes-on-the-prize mode was absolutely just so captivating and exciting and just cool. He was so cool in that moment and I think that’s the one that I hang onto the most.” Gonzalez recalled her favorite memory from the set, “For me, ultimately the opening scenes were really cool because…we established the working dynamic with Jason. So he would leave half of the other scene because he started with us. He’d come back in, he was like, ‘That was great!’ Like he wanted to be in the comedy with us, but obviously, he’s more the intensity and action.” A Working Man will be released in theaters on March 28.
