There seems to be good news and bad news for Real Housewives of D.C. husband, Tareq Salahi. The good news: his wife, Michaele Salahi, was not kidnapped, as he originally reported when she failed to show up for a hair appointment on Monday. Instead, it seems she may have run off with a rock star.

After Tareq became concerned about his wife's disapearance, he reportedly contacted the Warren County Sheriff's Department to declare her missing, saying he had received a phone call from her late Tuesday, in which "she wasn't being herself," and sounded as if she was being held under duress, reports ABC News, who also said Michaele spoke with police soon after, assuring them that she was okay and had left home with a good friend.

It turns out that Michaele had reportedly run off with the guitarist for '80s rock band Journey, Neil Schon. The Salahis, who made headlines back in 2009 for allegedly crashing Presidesnt Barack Obama's state dinner at the White House, tweeted a picture of themselves backstage with the members of Journey, including Schon, just last week.

"Tareq is devastated, but he is relieved to know that Michaele is safe and is okay," Tareq's attorney, David Silek told Good Morning America. "That was his first concern." No decisions have been made about whether or not the couple plans on officially separating. "He's so devastated there's not a goal other than trying to figure out what is going on at this time," Selik said. "If there's an opportunity for reconciliation, that's something they can and ought to explore."
