Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, both stars on the reality TV series Vanderpump Rules, ended their nine-year relationship after it was found that Sandoval cheated on her with their co-star, Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss.

Now, Sandoval claims he is “ready to protect someone’s heart again,” he revealed on Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files.

Tom Schwartz, Sandoval’s friend and co-host, joined him on the podcast as well. He claimed it would “scare” him to set Sandoval up with one of his friends, but added that Madix “hit the breakup jackpot” with his co-star.

Sandoval admitted to cheating.

“I don’t know what to say except I f—ed up, and I know that I did that,” she said. “It doesn’t matter the scenario, it doesn’t matter. I f—ed up, and I do know that. I do love hard, I really do.”

He said he believes Madix needs to stop spending energy on him and “just live [her] life, keep going, keep doing you, forget me, keep going. It’s just, it’s not a good look. I just want her to, like, move on.”

This may be easier said than done, as the former couple still own a Los Angeles property together.

Sandoval accused Madix of being “petty” for not accepting his $3 million offer to buy her out of the property.

“She was literally part of a cheating scandal and now has everything going for her, I think she’s being petty,” Sandoval stated.

Sandoval and Leviss’ affair became public knowledge last March when an intimate video of the two was found on his phone by Madix.

Sandoval took to his Instagram to formally apologize to Madix.

When Viall asked him what he had learned from this ordeal, Sandoval responded, “I don’t know, dude. I’m just trying to be a better person, I swear to God, like I really am. Like, I don’t know what to say. What have I learned? What have I learned?! To not ever do that again. To not ever be in a nine-year f—in’ relationship and end it that way. To not ever, like, cheat that way. Like, dude, I’m never gonna do that. That’s never gonna happen.”

Madix has moved on with a new boyfriend, celebrity fitness trainer Daniel Wai.
