Bolt was taking questions regarding his goals in the Olympics from reporters, and when he pointed towards Ramm, expecting another question, he got a few rap verses instead.
“I don’t really have a question,” Ramm said. “I just really love you man.”
“Usain Bolt you’re my favorite guy,” the journalist started to rap. “I’m loving your moves, and your feet, and your style. I hope that you win. I hope that you got the gold ring. And I hope that you go and not get followed by a segway…. okay thank you.”
Bolt appreciated Ramm’s flow and even asked him to do it again so he could record it.
“Give him back the mic,” the runner demanded with a smile, holding his phone up so he could record Ramm. “Do it again – 10 seconds for Snapchat!”
“It’s the sickest thing I’ve done in my entire life,” Ramm told Norwegian newspaper VG following his performance. “It could have gone in any direction. When I started I did not know if it would be total failure, but it went the right way.”
“I was really nervous! You have no idea. It was certainly the largest press conference in Rio,” the journalist admitted. “My heart knocked when I was on, but it was a great relief when he received it so well.”
