Rapper Rudolph Johnson, who is known as Lil Marlo, was found dead from gunshot wounds in his car on Sunday. The 30 year old was an up-and-coming musician who had been signed to Quality Music Control, which has worked with stars such as Migos and Lil Yachty.

The Atlanta Police Department revealed that officers responded to the scene of a single vehicle crash on I-285 at around 11:30 p.m. to find the driver dead with gunshot wounds. The police department released a statement that read, “At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.”

On Sunday, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Officer confirmed Johnson had been shot and killed.

The Quality Music Control chief operating officer Kevin Lee, often called “Coach K,” posted on Instagram, “You always had a smile on your face when we talked. If only everybody could’ve seen the pureness of your heart. This is such hard thing to do RIP Marlo. Prayers to your kids & family.”
