Another one bites the dust. Just one week after what seemed to be a date-gone-well, 28-year-old Tyler G, full name Tyler Gwozdz, has been sent home from The Bachelorette under mysterious circumstances despite being a favorite among many to win this season’s crown jewel, eligible Bachelorette Hannah Brown.

Brown, who represented Alabama at the Miss USA 2018 tournament, had nothing bad to say about her date with Gwozdz, and in fact went on to call him “nurturing” and a “gentle spirit,” saying that she would call out any bad behavior had she witnessed it. However, her claims contradict those of an anonymous Reddit user whose post went viral after making the following statements:

“Posting this from a throwaway account because I’m an active poster and don’t want this tied to my account or friends. BUT two of my best friends went to high school with Tyler Gwozdz. They both say that he is the BIGGEST a–hole d–che of all time.

While the show’s home network, ABC, is yet to confirm or the deny the role of these claims in Gwozdz’ departure, Gwozdz has remained quiet on social media, with his last post on Instagram being a selfie from his date with Brown.

Whether the accusations against Gwozdz are true or not, the situation brings to attention the phrase that all publicity is good publicity. Although that may not be completely accurate in 2019’s political climate, some confused Twitter users have contributed to making Tyler G a trending topic on the social network, giving him some post-Bachelorette fame.

You can keep up with the rest of the bachelors on ‘The Bachelorette’ which airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
