Former President Donald Trump suggested that Prince Harry might be deported from the United States due to his history of drug use.

In February, Harry, when asked on Good Morning America if he would ever consider becoming an American citizen, said that he had “considered it.”

“I have my own family,” he stated. “As we all do. So, my family and my life in California are as it is. I’ve got other trips planned that would take me through or back to the U.K., so I’ll stop and see my family as much as I can.”

During an interview with the U.K.’s Daily Express, Trump declared that he “wouldn’t protect” the prince since he “betrayed the queen,” an action which the former president considered “unforgivable.”

Trump’s remarks were made amid an ongoing lawsuit in which the conservative organization the Heritage Foundation sued the Department of Homeland Security for not adhering to proper procedures when granting Harry his visa. If his visa is deemed invalid, he could be deported.

During the interview, Trump accused the Biden administration of trying to protect Harry and said that if it were up to him, the prince would be “on his own.”

The former president then claimed that the Royal Family has been “too gracious” to Harry and his family since they chose to leave.

In 2020, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, chose to relinquish their royal duties and moved to California. They still live there with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Trump further hinted that Harry might be deported during an interview conducted by Nigel Farage on Britain’s GB News.

“[The Prince has] written this book, Spare, in which he openly admits to taking psychedelic drugs to taking cocaine to taking cannabis,” Farage mentioned.

“And no one knows the truth – what did he put on his American visa form,” he asked.

“Now we – you know – know that you’re not a great fan of him or Megan; we’ve talked about that before,” he recalled. “But don’t the American people deserve to know the truth about what went on that visa form?”

“Well, I guess so,” Trump replied. “I mean, I haven’t spoken about him in a long time. I think there was great disrespect done to a person that I got to know very well and like, [Queen Elizabeth II].”

He again mentioned that the Queen was “unbelievable” and “thought she was treated very disrespectfully by” Prince Harry and Markle.

“Although she wouldn’t show it because she was strong and smart, but I would imagine they broke her heart,” he claimed.

“The things that they were saying were so bad and so horrible, and she was in her 90s and hearing this stuff,” the former president recalled. “I think they broke her heart. I think they really hurt her very bad.”

“But if he’s – if he’s lied on his visa form doesn’t – doesn’t the truth need to come out,” Farage asked him again. “I mean, should – should he get special privileges that nobody else does?”

“No,” Trump answered. “And we’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs and if he lied. They’ll have to take appropriate action.”

“‘Appropriate action,'” Farage reiterated. “Which might mean not staying in America.”

“I don’t know, you’ll have to tell me,” Trump replied. “You just have to tell me.”

“You would – you would have thought they would have known this a long time ago, but I thought they were very disrespectful to the family to the royal family,” the former president said.

Grant Harrold, the British former butler to King Charles III, also appeared on GB News to say that Harry and Markle are afraid of Trump coming into power since it could lead to the deportation of the Duke of Sussex.

“The Sussexes possibly could fear Trump coming into power because there could be an investigation which could result in Prince Harry coming back to the U.K.,” Harrold stated.

“But you’d like to think that if there was something wrong if the visa application had been filled out incorrectly, that would have already been addressed in the past and not when Trump comes to power,” he continued.

“From what it appears, he obviously gets along quite well with Biden, and in the past, I think Trump has very much kind of spoke of in a way that shows he obviously supports the crown and the late queen and the king,” Harrold added. “But when it comes to Harry, he’s obviously got reservations. With Biden, it appears to be very different.”

“So deep down he probably does fear if Biden comes out of power and Trump goes into power,” the commentator continued. “That may be something on his mind and he realizes that it could be difficult.”
