Kanye West’s former publicist from Chicago was indicted by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis along with Donald Trump and 17 other people in Georgia’s election case

Trevian Kutti is being accused of attempting to overturn Georgia’s election results in 2020. She was recorded attempting to convince Ruby Freeman, who is the election worker Trump previously attacked publicly, to falsely incriminate herself in election fraud in Georgia.

Kutti found Freeman’s home and pressured her into making false claims or being faced with people coming to her home within 48 hours and possibly being arrested. After Freeman was allegedly accosted, she went to the police where she was cornered by Kutti again, who threatened to put her in jail.

Kutti, alongside Stephen Cliffguard Lee and Harrison William Prescott Floyd, is charged with the 30th and 31st Counts of “conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statement and writings” and “influencing witnesses.”

Count 30 alleges that Kutti, Lee and Floyd all “unlawfully conspired to solicit, request, and importune Ruby Freeman, a Fulton County, Georgia, election worker, to engage in conduct constituting the felony offense of False Statements and Writings, O.C.G.A. § 16-10-20, by knowingly and willfully making a false statement and representation concerning events at State Farm Arena in the November 3, 2020, presidential election in Georgia… with intent that said person engage in said conduct; and TREVIAN C. KUTTI traveled to Fulton County, Georgia, and placed a telephone call to Ruby Freeman while in Fulton County, Georgia, which were overt acts to effect the object of the conspiracy, contrary to the laws of said State, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.”

Count 31 is claiming that the trio “knowingly and unlawfully engaged in misleading conduct toward Ruby Freeman, a Fulton County, Georgia, election worker, by stating that she needed protection and by purporting to offer her help, with intent to influence her testimony in an official proceeding in Fulton County, Georgia, concerning events at State Farm Arena in the November 3, 2020, presidential election in Georgia, contrary to the laws of said State, the good order, peace and dignity thereof.”

These alleged actions took place around January 4, 2021, according to the indictments.

West clarified through a spokesperson that “Trevian Kutti was not associated with Kanye West or any of his enterprises at the times of the facts that are reported in these articles or since these facts occurred.”

Kutti began working with West in 2018 after she and R. Kelly ceased working together.

In 2021, Kutti claimed that she was “a member of ‘the Young Black Leadership Council under President Donald Trump” through her online biography. In addition to this, it added that in 2018 she worked with West as his “Director of Operations” and “was secured as a publicist to Kanye West.”
