Trent Reznor Didn’t Want Ted Cruz On His Nine Inch Nails Guest List, Told Senator To ‘F— Off’ [VIDEO]

On Tuesday at a show in Irving, Texas, Nine Inch Nails frontman, Trent Reznor told the audience that Senator Ted Cruz was “bugging to get on the guest list” for the gig, but that he told Cruz to “f— off.”

Despite ruffling a lot of feathers in the past, Cruz recently won against rival Beto O’Rourke during the 2018 midterm elections and will hold his Senate seat for the next six years. 

This obviously isn’t settling with Reznor, as while at his show he took a minute to “check the crowd” for people who voted for Cruz during the midterm elections. In a video uploaded to Reddit, Reznor is seen asking for the lights in the Pavilion at the Toyota Music Factory to be turned up so that he can check the crowd. “Who voted for Ted Cruz?” the 53-year-old musician asked the crowd. “See the lights aren’t on, I can’t see. Is there any way to turn the lights on? I’d like to see. Raise your hand, you guys, nothing to be ashamed of, just checking.”

“He might be here tonight,” Reznor continued. “He was bugging to get on the guest list, and I told him to f— off. We put him on a few years ago, he drank all the beer, and was just a pain in the a— to be around. So, I won’t, I won’t hold it against you.”

It still remains unknown whether Cruz attended the show or not as a paying customer, as Cruz has not commented on Reznor’s claims.
