The trailer for Dave Chappelle‘s long-awaited Netflix stand-up special has finally landed.
“I’ve been gone for a very long time,” says Chappelle. “Surprise, it’s me.” The highlights include topical bits about ISIS, being black in America, and O.J. Simpson.
“Two shows, one event,” reads the titles on the ad. “Reintroducing the one and only Dave Chappelle.” A Tribe Called Quest plays in the background with their hit “We the People…”
Chappelle’s last special was 2004’s Dave Chappelle: For What It’s Worth, so fans are excited that Netflix will be streaming three all new shows from the comedian. He has slowly made his way back into prime time by hosting Saturday Night Live last November.
