Tom Cruise performed The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” when he faced off against Jimmy Fallon in an epic lip sync battle on Monday’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Tom Cruise Lip Sync: The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face”

Cruise appeared on The Tonight Show Monday night to promote Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, and decided to partake in one of Fallon’s most beloved late-night traditions: the lip sync battle. Cruise kicked it off singing “the song of the summer,” The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” Fallon retaliated with the Rolling Stones’ “Undercover of the Night.”

After Fallon’s first performance, Cruise couldn’t resist teasing the host with a brief Risky Business slide on stage in between songs. “Please do not do that,” Fallon pleaded when the first notes of Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll” started playing. “That would not be fair. Please!” he added.

But it was Fallon’s second turn at the microphone that was truly magical. For his second song, Fallon recruited Cruse to perform The Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” – a song featured in Cruise’s Top Gun. “This one goes out to Goose,” Fallon said before launching into a dramatic lip sync.

The Weeknd Reacts To Tom Cruise’s Lip Sync

The Weeknd saw the lip sync and raved about Cruise’s performance of his song on Twitter, writing, “can’t believe @TomCruise is singing my song. @jimmyfallon *** you’re the MAN for this one.”
