Bones star TJ Thyne proposed to his girlfriend Leah Park in Germany on Monday and shared his romantic engagement photos on Twitter and Instagram.

Thyne got down on one knee in front of a German castle earlier this week in a proposal that he’d been planning for the last six months. "Our walk… our trail," Thyne tweeted. "SHE SAID YES!!!"

In one of the many pictures, Thyne posted to Instagram, he and his bride-to-be Parks are standing in the midst of candles arranged in the shape of a heart. The imposing castle features in the background. The actor dressed for the occasion in a black tux, while Parks was wearing deep red satin dress.

In order to capture the engagement, Thyne hired professional photographer Ulrik Eichentopf. "Ulrik is awesome!" Thyne tweeted, adding that Eichentopf "helped me keep the big surprise 4 Leah."

The engagement photos won the praise of Thyne’s followers, whom he graciously thanked on Twitter.

Park took to Instagram to share her own close-up of the custom ring her fiancé had found for her. "He's been planning this moment and searching for the perfect custom made ring for half a year,” she captioned the picture.

TJ Thyne plays Jack Hodgins on Fox’s Bones, which premiered its 9th season in September.
