Tiger Woods Hands Justin Thomas A Tampon After Outdriving Him, Fans Call It ‘Sexist’

Tiger Woods reportedly gave fellow professional golfer Justin Thomas a tampon after outdriving him by 10 yards.

Thomas threw away the tampon before the two friends laughed and hugged as they left the ninth hole at the Genesis International on Thursday.

However, some on social media have labeled the prank as sexist.

Another user tweeted, “If tiger spent three months a year bleeding and coping with period pain, they’d make a whole-ass documentary about how champions overcome insurmountable obstacles.”

Woods’ appearance at the Riviera was his first since The Open Championship in July last year.

The legendary golfer has had to deal with many injuries over the past few years, including back complications and leg injuries.

It was therefore a challenge for him to play all 18 holes, and outdriving a 15-time PGA Tour winner and two-time major champion in Thomas was a major achievement.

Woods finished the first round with two-under-par, five shots behind leaders Max Homa and Keith Mitchell.

In a press conference afterward, Wood stated, “It was a great round. The ebb and flow of needling each other, encouraging each other and telling stories. Because I hadn’t been out here so I’ve missed some of the things that have transpired on Tour, which is kind of fun.”
