Tiffany Trump is escaping her dad’s legal troubles. She is joining her mother, Marla Maples, in England for a mother-daughter trip abroad.

The former first daughter, 30, made a rare public appearance Monday when she accompanied Maples to the University of Cambridge. The former actress and model spoke at the college’s Union.

Tiffany and Maples were photographed posing together, with Tiffany in a white polo shirt and black pants and Maples in a beige sweater. Tiffany smiled as she stood with an arm around her 60-year-old mother.

While Tiffany did not join Maples onstage, the event’s website described Maples’ “number one role in life” as being a mother to her only child and “ushering her daughter, Tiffany Trump, into adulthood on the world stage.”

Before the talk, the pair enjoyed a night out in London, dining at the upscale Inca restaurant in the posh Mayfair neighborhood. The South American eatery offers high-end dishes like a $140 king crab.

The trip comes as Tiffany has faced a tumultuous period for her family back at home.

Last month, she publicly supported her father at his New York hush-money trial, joining her half-brothers at the courthouse to hear closing arguments. The former president was ultimately convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

At the trial, one of Trump’s lawyers disclosed an apparent 2016 blackmail attempt against Tiffany ahead of the presidential election, though she was not present when the claim was made.

The visit with Maples may have provided Tiffany a respite following her grandfather’s recent death. Maples confirmed last week that her 82-year-old father, Stanley Maples, died on May 29. She called caring for her father a “priceless gift.”

The U.K. trip marks a rare public outing for Tiffany, who has kept a relatively low profile since her father left the White House in 2021. She married billionaire Michael Boulos in 2022.
