Thom Yorke joined Radiohead fans in expressing anger over the rise in ticket sales for the band’s UK concerts, after tickets sold out in minutes on Friday.

Thom Yorke and Radiohead Fans Not Happy About UK Tour Ticket Sales

Tickets for the band’s three-night residency at the Roundhouse in Camden went on sale for £65 at 9am on Friday.

Radiohead fans were angry after tickets for the band’s London shows sold out in minutes – with some offered for resale for thousands of pounds on unofficial websites.

The official Twitter account for the Roundhouse venue told fans to “please be patient” after the ticket website was “experiencing huge demand.”

The Roundhouse later announced on Twitter that all the tickets had been sold, adding that there had been “unprecedented demand” for the show.

Radiohead lead singer Yorke took to Twitter himself to express his own anger at the ticket situation.

“I’m as f—ked off as you are and am only human,” he tweeted.

Tickets have also sold out via Ticketmaster UK, while secondary ticket-selling sites such as Viagogo are offering limited availability beginning at £900 and rising to as much as £3,908 for just one ticket.

This will be Radiohead’s first tour since the band last played London in 2012.
