The Eagles Announce First Set Of Dates For ‘The Long Goodbye’ Final Tour – Setlist

After more than 50 years of touring, The Eagles announced dates for their final tour. The tour, entitled The Long Goodbye, will feature Steely Dan as the opening act and is scheduled to begin on September 7 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Only the first 13 concert dates have been announced with tickets set to go on sale today. According to a statement by the band, the tour will star Don Henley (lead vocals, drums), Joe Walsh (lead guitar, lead vocals, keyboard), Timothy B. Schmit (bass guitar, lead vocals), as well as former members Vince Gill (rhythm guitar, vocals) and Deacon Frey (rhythm guitar, vocals) performing “as many shows in each market as their audience demands.” The tour is expected to continue into 2025.

THE EAGLES ‘THE LONG GOODBYE’ TOUR SETLIST

In a post on Instagram, the Eagles wrote, “Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.” The band continued, thanking its fans for their support and “embracing” the music. The Eagles concluded the announcement, saying, “This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on.”

The Eagles are an American rock band formed in 1971. They have produced five number-one singles and six number-one albums and have won a total of six Grammy Awards. The band has sold more than 200 million records and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
