Taylor Swift and former One Direction member Zayn Malik released a new duet together.
The two have teamed up for ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’,a single from the soundtrack for Fifty Shades Darker.
‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ appeared unannounced in the US iTunes Store just before midnight on Friday US eastern time. iTunes described it as “two of pop’s brightest stars [teaming up] for a passionate duet”.
The song has been described as “sexy” which befits the new ‘Fifty Shades’ sequel. Malik sings in the chorus:
“I don’t want to live forever, ‘cause I don’t want to be living in pain/I don’t want to fit wherever, I just want to keep calling your name/’Til you come back home.”
Swift was the first one to announce the new song on her Twitter. The message has been retweeted more than 40,000 times.
The writer behind the song, Jack Antonoff, tweeted on Friday:
