After Kirsten Wiig and Emma Stone, Saturday Night LIve chose famous wrestler John Cena to host last night’s episode.
Cena, who showed his acting talent in the films Trainwreck and Sisters, played a variety of roles on SNL. He sang during the opening monologue, only to be interrupted by meme-base shouts of “John Cena!” throughout. He made jokes about Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, and played a football player in a sketch about “applied science.”
While Cena only mentioned his wrestling career during the monologue, the show used the opportunity to make a sketch about UFC fighter Connor McGregor.
The skit called “Where’d Your Money Go” featured McGregor – as played by Alex Moffat — alongside Cena, Bobby Moynihan as golfer John Daly and Kenan Thompson as the game show’s host.
After UFC women’s champion Ronda Rousey became the first mixed martial artist to host the show earlier this year, they might get McGregor to appear soon as well.
